Having just launched in the LCBO, Fords Gin wanted to make a splash at the Restaurants Canada Show (RC Show). They hired us as event designers for their trade show booth design to bring their brand to life, in a small 10×10 booth size.
Because the booth had such a small footprint, we needed to make every inch count. They sampled their gin at the show, so we created a bar set up in the space, flanked by two decorative shelves. Rustic decor elements added visual interest to the booth, while nodding to their brand’s motto of being a bartender’s craft cocktail gin. Bold graphics contrasted with modern white elements created a stunning yet functional trade show booth design.
GOALS: To create a trade show booth design that stood out at a busy trade show
SERVICES: Floor plan design, full production, event design, styling, graphic design, set up and take down
We used the brand’s visual identity elements in a bold backdrop graphic and complimenting floor vinyl.
The bold green print served as the backdrop for the bar, drawing attention to the booth and bringing potential customers in.
With only a small square space, we opted to place the main bar elements on a diagonal, so that guests could see the brand and come in for a tasting whether they came from one side or the other.
Modern white shelves were used to pop against the backdrop, while being functional to store additional gin bottles.
Little details like 3D lettering on the bar were included, to give the booth visual interest and depth.
We also used moss, rocks and decor curiosities to accent the rustic shelf that was used for sampling.
A great trade show booth design should do double duty in drawing in potential customers with a striking design and serve the function of the booth (for this booth, it was sampling). We loved marrying the two needs in this beautiful design.
We loved how this trade show booth design came to life. Even though it was a tiny space, we made use of each and every inch of it to make an impactful impression on potential customers.
