This styled shoot was inspired by the colours of the year – rose quartz and serenity. I wanted to achieve an effortless elegance with delicate details without overwhelming the scenes with too much floral. I have a love for harvest style table setting for any occasions. This style brings back good memories of family get togethers, good laughs and great food.
I wanted the guests to be able to see each other and talk but also enjoy the beautiful centrepieces, I went with long vases and soft blooms cascading down from the top. It’s a less conventional approach to building a centrepiece.
To add to the layers of details, I choose an overlay on top of the white linen to give it some interesting and beautiful texture. Rose gold flatware was also another element that I wanted to bring into the style shoot to have another colour to ground the entire feel of the shoot.
