For anyone following along, my apologies for the late post! The last few weeks have been crazy busy. At the charity I work for, Yonge Street Mission, Prince Charles visited for an event that I helped coordinate logistics for. I got to shake his hand too! That was pretty exciting. Then the Pong For Poverty event rolled around shortly after, followed by a flurry of birthday dinners and activities. Needless to say it’s been a great month of May and I’m looking forward to more of my usual informative posts here on my blog and, even more so, I can’t wait for the wonderful weddings I will help with this summer.
Rewind a bit to my event… A big thanks to everyone who came out to Pong For Poverty this past May 27 at SPiN Toronto!
We had a great turnout of people, awesome music from the bands and DJs and the ping pong was a ton of fun. I liked that with this venue, guests entertained themselves with ping pong and food/bev. It was a low maintenance event for the most part and it was great to see friends come and support the event. Most importantly, good money was raised for Yonge Street Mission’s work in the city.
