On March 18, 2018, we held the second of three Wedding Academy events at the Omni King Edward Hotel’s new Crystal Ballroom (love this space!!). We hosted this fun and interactive event to share wedding planning tips from top industry professionals in an interactive setting. This event had a focus on style and infusing designer ideas into your wedding day. It was so much fun and so so stunning! See some of the highlights of the event below. Details at www.wedacademy.ca. This Wedding Academy set up was all about classic elegance, complimenting the cool tones of the King Edward Hotel’s Crystal Ballroom.
Ashton Creative kept the colours muted but still romantic, with ivory, blush and hits of light blue.
Fine Cakes by Zehra created an opulent designer cake display.
Floral in the stationary matched the fresh flowers perfect, designed by So Pretty In Print.
Lady Vy from DJ Floh Back Productions entertained guests upon entering.
Event Circle’s photobooth gave guests a fun takeaway.
Sixty Six Brix surprised guests with their popular Maple Taffy and Cheese station (taste and you’ll believe it!).
Guests got their nails pampered by The Nail and Champagne Bar.
Edible Selfee printed photos of the guests, so fun!
Ashton Creative gave takeaway bouquets for the guests, because who wouldn’t want flowers?
We had some amazing prizes to be won too!

I planned and emcee’d the event, and had so much fun!
Elizabeth from Wedluxe shared bridal trend tips, with gowns from Toronto designer Ines Di Santo.
Samantha wore the Radiant gown with such ease.
Angela wore the Promise gown and we were in love with the bow detail.
Danielle rocked the blush Whythe gown (this was my favourite!). Fancy Face did such a great job with the makeup and hair for all the girls.
Veronique wore the Sylvie ballgown and looked stunning.
Micheal from Garrison shared menswear tips with his top picks for 2018/2019 trends.
Thomas rocking the runway in the classic white tuxedo jacket.
Zehra from Fine Cakes by Zehra shared designer cake ideas.
Nikki from Narces shared her favourite looks for pre- and post- wedding events.
This bridal jumpsuit is so much fun, and would be great for dancing while still look fab!
Colour is so on trend right now and this red cocktail gown would do so well for a bridal shower dress or second reception gown.
I love wearing Narces and had so much fun wearing her cocktail dress with beautiful 3D floral appliques.
