Hi everyone! This past weekend I talked about Wedding Day Transportation on CP24’s AutoShop segment. Also see my behind the scenes post from the segment. Thank you to the super sweet and talented friends, Annie (from iBfrank.com) and Ming (from Puzzle Creations), for helping me with my hair and makeup! For now, here’s a recap of the wedding day transportation ideas I shared on the segment.
When it comes to wedding day transportation ideas, it’s like finding inspiration for any other part of your wedding. It’s about finding the right fit based on your budget and style, and knowing your options! Your wedding planner is a great resource for helping you find the right transportation mode for you.
Wedding day transportation on CP24 – Go classy
Limousines are the most common and practical options for getting your bridal party around on your wedding day. The options range from a simple town car for just the bride and groom, or bigger vehicles like stretch SUV limousines that sit everyone in the bridal party. I booked my own limousine from A Celebrity Limousines.
Rent an exotic car for the day (the boys will love it!). Here’s Rebecca in a pretty white lambo from VIP Exotics.
Another classy way to ride around town is on a horse and carriage. It’s not too common for downtown Toronto but it would be great for making a grand entrance to an outdoor wedding ceremony.
Wedding day transportation on CP24 – Go vintage
Charter a downtown Toronto tour for your wedding guests in this vintage TTC Streetcar. These run on actual street car tracks so the tours would have to run on regular TTC routes.
When thinking of vintage options, you can also consider luxury vintage options with a Rolls Royce, Bentley or Lincoln. Photo from Rolls Choice Livery.
Wedding day transportation on CP24 – Go Fun
Charter a sight seeing trolley with City Sightseeing Toronto. for the day if you want a fun way for guests to see the city. They are both cozy and comfortable, with huge windows for taking photos around town.
Another fun option from City Sightseeing Toronto is booking a London double decker bus with an open rooftop. Great for if you have a gap in between your ceremony and reception to give your guests a tour of your favourite spots around Toronto.
