This summer we had a blast designing and coordinating a Gillette Venus PR event, celebrating the launch of their collaboration with The Salt Water Collective on a new size and body inclusive swimwear collection. The event featured fun photo opps, an imitation pool, a full swimwear shop and fun drinks. We loved how it all came together!
When guests arrived to the event space, there was no doubt they arrived to the right PR event. The exterior featured palm trees and branding, creating a welcoming and exciting first impression.
We created another selfie spot, inspired by deconstructed water. With the right lighting, the textures really popped.
We designed a backdrop for the remarks and stage inspired by the Miami sunset and waves. It set the stage for great photos!
This was one of my favourite elements for the decor. We created a faux pool and pool letters that looked to be floating. A white pool edge was created for extra seating.
A relaxing lounge was created with vintage style beach chairs, pool floaties and Gillette blue palm trees. It was so cute!
Guests got to shop the new swimwear line as part of the event, so we designed a custom built boutique. The boutique featured hangers to hang the swimwear, shelving for decor and inventory and a spot for swag bags.
Regular and plus size mannequins displayed the swimwear near the shop, alongside elevated product displays.
We also created custom change rooms for guests to try on the swimwear at the event. The change rooms featured a mirror and chair and curtains in matching colours. The mirrors featured body positivity phrases for selfies.
The bar and DJ booth featured body positive sayings to tie in with the decor and messaging of the event.
Our models looked so fabulous in the swimwear!
We had such a great time designing this bold and bright PR event for Gillette Venus. We loved how it came together and loved seeing everyone have such a great time!
