A wedding planner and her wedding day emergency kit

As I prepare for a wedding next weekend, I am going through what I call the “wedding day emergency kit”, making sure I have stocked up on everything I might need. I say “might” because this kit is really for things that may or may not come up; all the just-in-case scenarios. Afterall, part of my job is to be prepared for anything.

To give you an idea of what I carry with me on the wedding day, here is a glimpse into my emergency kit:

  • Dental floss
  • Tissue paper
  • Lip gloss
  • Pens
  • Mints
  • Markers
  • Tide to go
  • Spray bottle for floral
  • Pads and tampons
  • Cable ties
  • Tape
  • Ibuprofen
  • Mirror
  • Playing cards (for kids)
  • Shoe shine
  • Lotion
  • Bobby pins
  • Safety pins
  • Blister treatment
  • Cotton swabs
  • Nail clipper
  • Bandaids
  • Extra heel wedge
  • Body spray
  • Curling iron
  • Is there anything else you think I should add? I am always open to suggestions! Sometimes I also carry an extra aisle runner, tulle and ribbon in my car (weird right, but you never know!)

Having a Certified Wedding Coordinator on your wedding day means that you are in the best position to tackle any last minute problems that may arise on your special day. It means that you have someone who is prepared to handle these problems discreetly and tactfully so you can enjoy your day and be stress-free!
